Sweet Puffs

1 bag of butter flavored puffs

1 1/3 cubes (not cups) butter

2/3 cup sugar

2 TBS water

1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 225

Put puffs on parchment paper on a jelly roll/sheet cake pan.

In a medium saucepan melt butter over medium high heat.

As soon as it's melted add sugar and water.

AS SOON AS it starts to bubble (even a little) boil for 4 minutes.

Remove from heat and add vanilla

Pour over puffs and stir (I like to use a spatula/kid cheater so I can get all the good stuff that falls to the bottom)

Bake in oven for 1 hour, stirring every 10 minutes

Store in airtight container (if they last that long)....I like to put them in a Ziploc bag and suck all the air out with a straw :) they stay more crisp and fresh that way

(You should be able to find the puffs on the chip isle at your local grocery store. I have bought them at both Smiths and Wal Mart....you just have to look close!!)
